英文摘要虹膜识别技术利用人眼虹膜区域内所含有稳定、唯一的纹理结构进行身份识别,是目前生物特征识别技术的重要研究方向之一。该技术具有高防伪性、高稳定性等优点,还能实现非接触、活体识别,可广泛应用于银行、机场、煤矿、变电所、保密机关等场所进行身份识别,具有非常广阔的市场应用前景。本论文围绕虹膜识别技术及其应用开展研究,具体的研究内容如下: 1. 概述了身份识别技术的发展现状,介绍了现有的生物特征识别技术,重点阐述虹膜识别技术的工作原理和工作流程,对比分析了虹膜识别技术与其它生物特征识别技术的差异。 2. 研制了虹膜图像采集器。采用红外发光二极管作为照明光源,利用反射可见光、透射红外光的滤光片消除背景光的影响并进行横向位置的对准,通过距离传感器的反馈进行前后位置的调焦,将虹膜图像清晰地成像到图像传感器上。该虹膜图像采集器易于使用,可实现虹膜图像的快速采集。 3. 优化了虹膜识别算法。通过查找阈值化后二值图像中的轮廓来定位瞳孔中心,以该中心作为原点将图像转换到极坐标下进行虹膜区域图像的分离,分离后的图像经过归一化增强后进行特征提取、特征识别,该算法可解决强光下虹膜识别困难的问题。 4. 研究了虹膜识别门禁系统。该系统将自行研制的虹膜图像采集器与装载虹膜识别算法的工控机相结合,在变电站门禁控制中开展了实际应用验证,识别效果良好。 5. 研究了虹膜与指纹双重身份认证系统。该系统集成了虹膜识别、指纹识别模块,将虹膜特征、指纹特征与身份证号相关联,实现了身份的快速、安全认证。 关键词:虹膜识别,图像采集,识别算法,门禁系统,身份认证; As one of the most important research fields on biometrics, iris recognition technology has been used to identify verification for the stability and unique texture structure of the human eye’s iris region. This technology has the advantages of high security and high stability. And it could also realize non-contact and living recognition. Therefore, it has a very broad market prospects and has been widely used in banks, airports, coal mines, substations, confidential institutions and other places for identification. This paper focuses on iris recognition technology and its application. And the research contents are as follows: 1. The development of identity technology is summarized and the existing biometrics is introduced. Then the working principle and working flow of iris recognition technology is focused, and the difference between iris recognition technology and other biometrics is compared. 2. Developed an iris image collector. The collector uses the infrared LED as its illumination light source. And an infrared filter is used to eliminate the influence of the background light and align the eye image of horizontal position. Moreover, the iris image is clearly imaged onto the image sensor by adjusting the lens’s focal length with the feedback of distance sensor. The collector is easy to use and can achieve rapid acquisition of iris images. 3. Optimized the iris recognition algorithm. It locates the pupil center by finding the contours in the threshold binary image. The located center is set as the origin of the image. Then the iris region is separated by conversing the image from the Cartesian coordinate to the polar coordinate. Furthermore, the image texture features are extracted and matched after normalized enhancement processing. The algorithm could solve the problem of iris recognition under strong light. 4. Studied the iris recognition access control system. The system is developed by the combining of the iris image collector and the IPC which loaded the iris recognition algorithm. And its recognition effect is excellent in the application of the substation access control system. 5. Studied the dual authentication system of iris and fingerprint. The system integrates iris recognition and fingerprint identification. It associates the ID number with iris features and fingerprint characteristics to achieve fast and secure identity authentication.
